steps
- bring a large pot of salty water to a boil.
- mince garlic.
- add pasta and cook to slightly below al dente (pasta will keep cooking in the sauce).
- add a few tbsp’s of olive oil to a pan over medium-high heat.
- simmer garlic until slightly browned.
- add heavy cream to the pan.
- add pasta and a few spoons of pasta water to the pan.
- toss pasta and sauce. add parsley, salt, and black pepper to taste.
- turn off heat, and grate a generous amount of parmesean cheese over the pasta. mix well and serve immediately.
