Pan Fried Tofu

ingredients
- firm or extra firm tofu
- low sodium soy sauce
- oyster sauce (or vegetarian stir fry sauce)
- vegetable oil
- salt and pepper
steps
- chop tofu into smaller pieces.
- pat down tofu with a paper towel to get rid of some of the water.
- add oil to pan, and wait for it to reach medium heat.
- add tofu. fry 3-5 minutes on high heat until bottom is golden brown. add salt and pepper to taste.
- combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a bit of water in a bowl. mix and set to the side.
- flip all tofu pieces to the other side, and fry for 2-3 more minutes.
- add the sauce combination to the pan, and fry for 30 more seconds.
