steps
- Dice onions and garlic.
- In a large pan, saute onions and garlic in olive oil at med-high heat until slightly browned.
- Add ground beef into the pan and cook until browned.
- Add tomato sauce into the pan and simmer for a few minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- In the small mixing bowl, combine egg, ricotta, parmesean, mozzerella, salt, pepper, and spices.
- Wash and dry spinach well. Squeeze out as much water as possible.
- Initial layering (do twice):
- Sauce
- Pasta
- Cheese
- Spinach
- Top layer:
- Pasta
- Sauce
- Mozzerella cheese
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes.
- Take off the foil and broil for 15 more minutes to brown the cheese.
